Following the frustrating out of stock situation last year, product has now been freely available for some time. To remind GPs, Pharmacists and consumers of Balmosa’s excellent properties as a topical analgesic cream, a series of adverts have been placed. To reach the professional audience adverts will appear in GP magazine, Geriatric Medicine, The Practitioner and Chemist & Druggist to communicate Balmosa’s benefits and competitive price point. Please advise your GPs that at 82p it is the cheapest topical analgesic indicated for chilblains. For the pharmacist, there is a margin of 38% plus the wholesaler discount – typically 10%.
The consumer PR campaign had a good start in January when Balmosa was highlighted in the Daily Mail in a ‘Five of the Best….Chilblain Products’ article. Additionally, we have teamed up with the Raynaud’s & Scleroderma Society whose members are commonly affected by chilblains. Please see the enclosed bundle of their latest Chilblain information leaflet, which we have sponsored. Please give these a prominent display in your pharmacy during these winter months and give Balmosa your personal recommendation.
