01/08/08 : Avicenna raises more than £1500 for Cancer Research!
The 5K Race for Life in Regents Park offered a great opportunity for the Avicenna girls to rally together, get fit and raise as much as they could for a great cause.
Blessed with sunshine and excellent race conditions all the girls made it round in under an hour, bringing in over £1500 for Cancer Research.
We all enjoyed the day so much that we have decided to make it an annual tradition, but next year we will be embracing the spirit of the event even more and will be running in tutus and tiaras!
